I needed makeup for a wedding I was attending. I contacted Amy, she was very friendly and told me to send her inspo pics for my makeup. She did a phenomal job. I received so many compliments on my makeup!

Always professional and a super talented artist!! Any has done my makeup for a few different black tie events, and I always love how I look!!!

I went originally to get help with my ‘mother of the groom’ look but when I found out Amy could do the whole wedding party I contacted my daughter in law. Everyone looked amazing. And Amy brought an assistant who also helped with our hair. It was so worth it. And the best compliment: my former sister-in-law, who I had not seen in almost 20 years looked at me and said: how is it possible you look younger than the last time I saw you?! Oh yea!

I usually don’t wear much makeup, but I wanted to look good at my friend’s wedding. Amy patiently gave me tips and suggestions for foundation color blends that would work for my olive skin tone. She showed me how to apply moisturizer w/sunscreen, primer, foundation, concealer, cream and powder blush, subtle eye shadow, mascara and setting spray. Makeup has changed since I used it in the 80s and Amy cut through the noise of TikTok and my 14 yr old’s opinions to give me age-appropriate skin care advice. Five stars!⭐️

Amy and Imelda did an amazing job on my wedding makeup and hair! They arrived fully prepared and ready, and we’re able to adapt to last minute changes. They also did hair and makeup for a couple of my bridesmaids and my mother-they all looked beautiful! Thank you for everything!

Amy Sparks Makeup and hair did an amazing job at giving me the EXACT LOOK I was going for. Going through the trial run was a great idea because it gave me confidence before the day of the wedding of what to expect. I was so lucky to find Amy and Imelda! After they did hair/makeup for my sisters wedding in June I saw how incredibly talented and professional they both are and I knew I had to have them for my wedding. They were so organized with everything it made me feel at ease and stress free the day of. Everything was so seamless, from my trial to the day of the wedding. They answered emails and phone calls and were so sweet. My hair and makeup looked unbelievable. I was one of those indecisive brides, and they helped me put my vision together. All of my bridesmaids looked amazing and were so happy! I can’t say enough great things about Amy sparks and her team!

Amy and her assistant did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and the mothers. All of our hair and make up turned out amazing. We were all very happy with our look. We received many compliments on both hair and make up. There were several comments that our make up looked very nice, professional, and event styled, but not over done. We still looked like us, just our better self. The make up and hair styles lasted all day through out tears, laughter, hugging, eating, and dancing. I will be using Amy and her team in the future for different events.

My review is for hair services only, but I’m sure the makeup would have been absolutely wonderful too. Imelda made my hair into a work of art, and it wasn’t overdone and “poofy.” She also did my bridesmaids’ hair and didn’t just do a cookie cutter updo – she made each of them a unique hairstyle that matched their personality. Also, please know that she managed to navigate downtown LA in the middle of a labor protest to ensure that we had our hair done. Wonderful!

I am so glad I chose Amy Sparks’ Picture Perfect Makeup and Hair for my wedding day! I am African-American and all of my bridesmaids are of different ethnicities. One of my biggest concerns was that my makeup should look natural and truly match my skin tone. Amy and her crew worked easily with the variety of skin tones.
