Friends and strangers alike were blown away by her skills. Amy has decades of experience and it really shows in the quality of her work! March 5, 2024 at 12:00 amI went originally to get help with my ‘mother of the groom’ look but when I found out Amy could do the whole wedding party I contacted my daughter in law. Everyone looked amazing. And Amy brought an assistant who also helped with our hair. It was so worth it. And the best compliment: my former sister-in-law, who I had not seen in almost 20 years looked at me and said: how is it possible you look younger than the last time I saw you?! Oh yea!

I had been having a rough morning getting ready for my wedding (hair stylist cancelled morning of) and Amy not only did a beautiful job with my make up, but also helped me calmed down when it felt like everything was going wrong. She was very easy to communicate/schedule with and understood my request for 1950’s glam perfectly. She even provided a to-go container of foundation and lipstick if I needed touching up. Will absolutely be contacting her again if I need make up for a special event.

Amy patiently gave me tips and suggestions for foundation color blends that would work for my olive skin tone. She showed me how to apply moisturizer w/sunscreen, primer, foundation, concealer, cream and powder blush, subtle eye shadow, mascara and setting spray. Makeup has changed since I used it in the 80s and Amy cut through the noise of TikTok and my 14 yr old’s opinions to give me age-appropriate skin care advice. Five stars!⭐️

I researched a LOT of options for makeup and hair and got a lot of quotes for prices and timing. I had nine bridesmaids. All nine of them got their hair done, so ten hairstyles including my bridal hair. Six of them got their makeup done, so seven ladies including my bridal makeup. My ceremony started at 3:30 PM, so most places were telling us they needed to start super early to get everybody done. She and Imelda (hair) were on time and flexible when the power went out in my hotel room just as they were about to start hair and makeup. Amy did makeup for myself, mom and sister and everyone looked great!!
I have curly hair and was nervous about getting wedding hair done. Imelda did an EXCELLENT job and listened to my feedback. Highly recommend her, for straight or curly hair!

Going through the trial run was a great idea because it gave me confidence before the day of the wedding of what to expect. After they did hair/makeup for my sisters wedding in June I saw how incredibly talented and professional they both are and I knew I had to have them for my wedding. They were so organized with everything it made me feel at ease and stress free the day of. Everything was so seamless, from my trial to the day of the wedding. They answered emails and phone calls and were so sweet. My hair and makeup looked unbelievable. I was one of those indecisive brides, and they helped me put my vision together. March 30, 2013 at 12:00 amAmy and her assistant did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and the mothers. All of our hair and make up turned out amazing. We were all very happy with our look. We received many compliments on both hair and make up. There were several comments that our make up looked very nice, professional, and event styled, but not over done. We still looked like us, just our better self. The make up and hair styles lasted all day through out tears, laughter, hugging, eating, and dancing. I will be using Amy and her team in the future for different events.

They really take the time to get to know each girl and did the most flawless and natural looking make-up and beautiful hair too! I loved the fact that she did airbrush and lashes on all the girls, not just the bride. My mother even did her make-up and looked beautiful! Imelda made my hair into a work of art, and it wasn’t overdone and “poofy.” She also did my bridesmaids’ hair and didn’t just do a cookie cutter updo – she made each of them a unique hairstyle that matched their personality. Also, please know that she managed to navigate downtown LA in the middle of a labor protest to ensure that we had our hair done. Wonderful!

All of the girls that got their hair done looked spectacular, they each had their own unique hair style that suited them very well and held for the night! The make-up was also to die for; it was very professional and Amy made sure that each girl had a look that they wanted!! Amy was so professional and travelled to our location the day of the wedding which was a plus! I would highly recommend her for any special occasion when you need hair or make-up done!

One of my biggest concerns was that my makeup should look natural and truly match my skin tone. Amy and her crew worked easily with the variety of skin tones.
